They made this deck into a crazy combat centric deck with this upgrade and it’s cool but you still need to have these cards like filigree racer that give you energy to be able to keep some of the copies you make off your commander around. While energy isn’t the main focus anymore it’s still a very important aspect of the deck even if you’re focusing less on it.

I think that Hydroelectric specimin is way, way better than just being a removal magnet, because you not only get the misdirection, but the body to do it to. with the likes of Tamiyo's Safekeeping and snakeskin veil and malakir rebirth running about, it's very easy to muck that and suddenly your Weird gets the buff.

3 colour deck. I had 2 mountains, sol ring, everflowing chalace. The 3 orther cards needed black pips. Took me 4 turns to get a black producer. The 3rd colour was blue and had an island on turn 3. It was rough. I lost hard.

Probably the most tense and entertaining episode I've watched so far. Both of the fans were really entertaining and that Rat deck was fantastic!

Last time me and a friend played commander at our local we explained that we only had slightly modded precons nothing to crazy then our first game a 70 year old fully tattooed triad grandpa somehow locked everyone out from doing anything turn 3 or 4 and won the game without us even knowing what he did we just took his word on it lol then the 2nd game he somehow produces a million mana and picks each of us apart with Zacama and wins again without even trying in fact he looked bored while playing us lol fun times.

This was amazing! A proper tribute!

Not seeing Bitterblossom in the upgrades is a big oof. That card counts for 2 card types, while also making evasive bodies to make more goyfs

Up to this point I had only heard whispers and horror stories about Edgar Markov. Now that I've seen it in action... gyat dayum.

My least favorite game of commander, this dude sat down and said his deck was a zero power level… proceeded to play all the fast mana, all the counter spells, and then jammed some enchantment we couldn’t interact with that ended the game in a draw.

I decided to make a deck similar to mia's with some monarch cards, idk if she used monarch cards. But it worked so well, I had monarch for like 5 turns in a row that they just couldn't do anything to me against

is teferi's puzzle box considered mass hand discard😅 it draws the same amount of cards and the previous hand goes to the bottom of the library, but it's not a straight discard. they both disrupt but i saw puzzle box as at least fair for everyone

"Bouncelands do not enter untapped" Except the lair cycle which to be fair is more of a mana hit in exchange for nicer tempo, but being able to in a shard deck replace the mdfc with an untapped land *and* get access to the spell is something I'm really interested in doing in my next deck.

I thought this might be interesting to watch, but it's way too heavily edited Prof's "Shuffle Up and Play" is far superior, because it's not cutting to a different scene every 5 seconds This show feels like watching a Reality TV show about 4 strangers pretending to play Commander. (NB: "Reality" TV is horrible, and anything but real) As someone who is interested in Commander, but unfortunately has never had the chance to play, this show makes me feel completely unwelcome. It makes Commander seem more like a popularity contest than a chill game that I could actually enjoy. And the cringey voice acting certainly doesn't help... (constantly trying to one-up each other in some kind of fake social contest) All I really wanted was to examine the play of some interesting decks/cards, but ya'll are trying way too hard to make this into a B-movie instead of a card game. I spent more time trying to ignore the manufactured drama than I did understanding the actual cards

See, I play Sire of Insanity in my demon tribal deck. Usually, when I already have a domineering board presence and hopefully also with Havoc Festival on the field as well.

I thought Edgar Markov sucked but it turns out it was just that my friends Edgar Markov deck that sucked not the commander lol.

Its motivated my deck building as i consider how fast my decks gotta be so i dont have to deal with them 😂

Cutting displacer is crazy. If you add any sort of token or etb doubler you can create infinte scion tokens with a couple different eldrazi.
